Game vs. Rock Ridge HS has been canceled. There will be no practice tonight either, so please use tonight to rest up and disinfect all your equipment.

Practice 3/18 will now take place in the main gym from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Please make sure that you bring your sneakers (no cleats inside) and a SOCK to put over your stick since we will be inside. We will all enter through door B3 and exit through B4. Coach Molly or myself will wait outside B3 for you all to check you in and do temps.

Pictures will now take place at 6:30pm in the library. We will have a quick practice beforehand from 5pm-6pm, so meet at the turf field a few minutes before 5pm to get temperatures taken. 

We will be wearing BLACK JERSEYS for pictures.

Field hockey tryouts will take place February 15^th-17^th, 2021.

February 15^th: 4:00pm-6:30pm @ Turf field  (No School- President’s Day)

February 16^th: 4:30pm-6:30pm @ Turf field

February 17^th: 4:30pm-6:30pm @ Turf field

Players will need to come to tryouts prepared with these items:

• Stick
• Mouth guard
• Shin guards
• Goggles
• Cleats
• Running shoes
• Personal water bottle(s)- at least 32 ounces per hour 
• Face covering (mask) 

*Student athletes will enter through the single gate at the front entrance of the turf field. Masks must be worn and daily screening forms must be filled out and submitted prior to arrival.

All players interested in trying out, must have both registration and physical forms/paperwork completed. Players are not permitted to try out if these documents are not on file prior to tryouts.

Physical Examination

Students registering for athletics must have a current physical examination on file in the athletic department before the student is authorized to participate in practice/tryouts. To ensure clearance for participation, physicals should be completed and turned in to the Athletic Department Office no later than 5 school days prior to the first day of practice/tryouts.

Physicals are valid from May 1 of the previous school year until June 30th from the date of the last exam.

ONLY VHSL PHYSICAL IS TURNED IN AS HARD COPY TO ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT
